CORRECTION: CHANGE OF VENUE FOR NOVEMBER 3 TTT MEETING:
WHOOPS!
It turns out that Joao Luis will be catering a dinner for friends on
Wednesday, November 3. Hence we will NOT be meeting at CAFE BRASIL on
November 3. We will meet instead at EMILY'S BAKERY at MISSION and
LAUREL streets. The time is still 5 pm (pacific standard time). It
would be a good idea to wear a sweater. All are invited to attend!
See you then and there.

RESPONSES TO THE 10.20.99 NOTES:
You have already heard from Ian McFadden and Larry Pageler regarding the
new bus service to campus, so I won't duplicate their comments here, but
it's great to hear that the new route seems well-subscribed.
We also heard from Jennifer Bragar of the SCMTD. The message I received
was addressed to only the first 11 of our usual recipients, so at some
risk (but with thanks) i will append her note here:

Hello All,
The SCMTD is in the process of hiring an architect and engineer firm for
the MetroBase project. The architect and engineer should be on board by
mid-November. We look forward to working with TTT on a meeting for
early next year.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Bragar
